Taking Texas by Storm

From riding in the Brazos River to taking the plunge at the BSR Surf Ranch, we had a blast in the Lone Star State!

Ryder had an unbelievable run at the Centurion Absolut Water Proof Tour Stop in Waco Texas, landing his 5-big on his second pass in the finals to lift him to a first place finish in the Men’s Outlaw Skim Division. What a weekend for Ryder! Dagen struggled - the warm Brazos River made the water feel different and it was a difficult two runs; however, he battled it out and finished second next to his new friend Reed, who had the run of his life to take first place! Congrats Reed - well done!

Once the comp was wrapped up, we ventured down the road to the BSR Surf Ranch, which not only has a man-made surf park and cable park….it has the Royal Flush - three huge slides that launch you into a pool. SO MUCH FUN! We hit the park with Reed Cole-Tucker - a new friend from New Hampshire. Aside from getting to do the sport we love, meeting people from all over the world is another wicked part of the surf community.
