Rides Phase 5 Matrix Surfboard
Known for his smooth and technical surf style

Men’s Pro Skim 3x National Champion; World Outlaw Skim Champion

Ryder started in watersports at four years old. By five, he was carving it up on a homemade trainer board being pulled behind a 16-foot fishing boat. He started wakeboarding at 6 and entered his first competition the following year. In 2017, he started focusing on competitive wakesurfing…and the rest, as they say, is history.

In 2020, he became the first Canadian competitive rider to land a 5-shuv and in 2021, the 7-big.
