Breaking the Ice

Well, with no school in session, the lake has been calling. Problem is, here in Canada, spring comes late. We’ve been watching the ice and TODAY was the day. The lake was down to just a thin sheet - so we broke the ice on our season…LITERALLY. Water temp was 40 degrees…feet and all other body parts turned purple…but it was SO worth it to get back on the water. Come on summer!!!

Frozen solid…but totally worth it!
